My family is once again working to support people living with ALS and their loved ones. Together, we can make life easier on those facing this horrendous disease and continue to push towards a cure. Our work is inspired by my mom, Mike Dallum, who passed away 25 years ago of from ALS. We're continuing the fight that she started.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. The life expectancy of a person with ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure.
Please help families throughout Oregon facing ALS. Please contribute to our team's efforts and ALS Northwest!
