Thank you for helping me reach my Walk ALS fundraising goal! This Walk raises funds to support those affected by ALS and spreads awareness of the urgency to find treatments and a cure.
The life expectancy of a person with still ALS averages 2 to 5 years from the time of diagnosis. Our Steve battled ALS for 3 years. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure. That’s why I’m walking. To change the statistics. --And I walk in memory of Steve and to honor him.
The past two years have brought incredible advancements in ALS research, expanded access to care for people living with ALS, and enabled legislation that impacts the quality of life for people with ALS and their families. But, we can’t stop now. The key to a cure begins with us.
If you're available on June 2nd, please register to walk with our team Steve's Wobbly Knees, or sponsor me with a donation. Every little bit adds up.
Thank you, and I hope to see you on June 2, 2024! Feel free to message me with any questions!
