I have participated in this event for over 20 years and won't give up until ALS is a thing of the past. I walk to raise awareness, to share hugs amongst the affected community, to change the statistics, to keep hope alive, and to honor the many people that I love and adore who we have lost to this disease.
Please consider walking with me by joining the team and/or donating towards our team goal of $2,500. Deeply grateful for any action you can take to speak up for the ALS community.
The ALS community truly cares about changing the reality of what happens when their loved one receives the ALS diagnosis. Better quality of life, better coordinated care, better treatment options, better government funding, better options, and the list goes on. It all requires continued and enhanced support.
The ALS community inspires me on the daily and I am forever grateful that I get to see life through their lens. Not just to embrace the one life we get to live but to celebrate the small moments that make it all worth it.
The ALS community is one of the worst clubs to belong to, and yet, it has the most dynamic and remarkable members and supporters.
