Please join our team "Walking on the Edge" at the ALS Walk on Sunday, June 2nd at the Rose Quarter-Moda Center. We are walking to raise awareness of this debilitating disease which has affected our dear brother-in-law, Pete Edgerly. ALS Northwest has been an invaluable resource for Pete and Judy as well as others coping with ALS.
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe. ALS can strike anyone, and presently there is no known cause or cure. We certainly did not expect this to happen to anyone in our family.
That’s why I’m walking. To change the statistics. To bring help and hope to those living with the disease. To ensure that no one ever hears the words: “You Have ALS” again.
Please consider walking by clicking on the "View My Team" button above or click on the "Donate" button - a donation of any size helps! With your help, we will be able to make a difference in the lives of people affected by this disease. Thank you for your support!
