Hello, friends! Thank you for visiting the Team Stern page for the 2024 Walk ALS Portland! Whatever it is that brought you here, we are grateful.

My name is Whitney Parnell, and I've created Team Stern to walk in honor of my dad, Steve Stern, who passed away from ALS in July 2015.  (See more about my personal journey here: https://secure.alsoregon.org/site/TR/Walk/General?px=1021107&pg=personal&fr_id=1151)

Our goal is to raise $5,000 for the 2024 Walk ALS Portland, and we need your help to do it. You can help out in one of the following ways:

1. DONATE: Whatever you can is helpful, even if it's just $5. 

2. WALK WITH US: We would love to walk with you on June 2 through beautiful downtown Portland. (Hint: an amazing band will be performing at the Walk, so you don't want to miss out!)

2. DONATE + WALK: This is the biggest impact option of the three. If you can spare a few minutes to create a walk page and share it with your friends and family, you're reaching an audience that Team Stern might not be able to reach without you. We encourage you to do this - ask your friends and family to each donate $5, and then come walk with us in person!
